News About the Creation of The Museum

NEWS FOR THE MUSEUM OF HELLENISM of ASIA MINOR

-Over 2.000 signatures (electronic or otherwise) have been gathered for the Museum of Hellenism of Asia Minor until today!

-Most of the Associations related with Greek refugees and their Ancestors from Asia Minor in Greece and elsewhere support the proposal for the creation of a Museum of the Hellenism in Asia Minor to be established in the buildings of Alexandra Avenue, Athens.

-Smyrnean’s Association has sent letters to the Prime Minister Mr. G. Papandreou as well as to the Ministers regarding the Museum.

- Smyrnean’s Association asked also the Mayor of Athens for his support to the creation of the Museum.

- MP, Mr. Charakopoulos Maximus requested to the parliament of Greece for the Museum.

-The Greek Institute of Architects supports the creation of the Museum in the buildings of Alexandra Avenue Athens.

-In the Greek section of our website "ΤΑ ΝΕΑ ΤΟΥ ΜΟΥΣΕΙΟΥ" you could see and read the letters we have sent to the Greek Governement regarding our proposals for the creation of the Museum.
