The General Assembly of the Association of Smyrneans, a historical group of Greeks of Asia Minor origin who  were also victims of Ottoman genocide and Turkish politics and actions, congratulates you on your decision to recognize the genocide of the people and communities of Asia Minor.

We would like to assure you that this decision, and others like this, contribute greatly to the peaceful co-existence and friendship among the peoples in the region.

Generalförsamlingen Association of Smyrneans, en historisk grupp av grekerna i Mindre Asien ursprung som också var offer för osmanska folkmordet och den turkiska politiken och åtgärder, gratulerar er till beslutet att erkänna folkmordet på människor och samhällen i Mindre Asien.

Vi vill försäkra er om att detta beslut, och andra som denna, i hög grad bidra till en fredlig samexistens och vänskap mellan folken i regionen.
